The AVTECH New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse Programs (NJ LPN)

The AVTECH LPN program is based on the National League of Nursing Excellence Model. Our commitment is to create health care professionals who will meet the needs of today’s complex ever changing health care environment.

AVTECH Philosophy

The Faculty believes that nursing is an art and science in which the protection, promotion, and optimization of health, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease is paramount. The cure of individuals, families and communities takes place in a variety of environments in which there are a variety of internal and external influences that affect the ability of individuals to grow and develop. Health a human right, is a dynamic state of being viewed holistically and promoted through understanding, caring, adaptive coping and appropriate system / illness management. Individuals are diverse, holistic, complex beings responding to basic human needs and life events while constantly interacting with others. Teaching is a planned process of interaction in which learning is measured by a change in behavior. To facilitate this growth and change, a variety of teaching strategies are employed to maximize learning.
